Graduating from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2004, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuncay Taş completed his Urology Specialization training in 2010.
Between 2006 and 2007, he received advanced laparoscopic surgery training at the Laparoscopy, Robotics and Oncology Center of Heidelberg University Heilbronn SLK Hospital in Germany; he became one of the first urologists in Türkiye to receive formal training in this field.
A large part of his professional practice;
Laparoscopic and robotic surgery methods
Diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of prostate, bladder and kidney cancers,
Treatment of conditions such as erectile dysfunction and penis shortness that occur after prostate cancer,
Penile prosthesis applications are made.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuncay Taş has been providing customized oncological surgery solutions to patients from both Turkey and abroad for many years.

He completed his laparoscopic surgery training under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Jens Rassweiler at the Urology Department of Heidelberg University, Heilbronn Training Hospital in 2006-2007. In this context, Dr. Taş is one of the first urologists in our country to have received training in 'Oncological Laparoscopic Surgery'.
